I love how vivid the yellow is in this photo – makes me think of summer


This flower is called the Torch Ginger flower I really like the detail that’s been picked up in this photo, you can even see the tiny ants on it!

I was really impressed by how clearly my camera picked up the colour of the sky and clouds in this photo. It makes me think of warm summer days.


Also known as the ArcelorMittal Orbit, which is in Stratford, London (reminds me of a huge waterslide). I was lucky enough to visit the Olympic park last year and take a few pictures. I really like the view of this and how the red stands againt the bright blue sky

I have attempted many times at trying to capture flowing water . This was one of my earlier shots using a point and shoot digital camera. I quite like the picture, and the way the water has been frozen. I’ll keep trying though and post photos of the ones I like

I’m no sure what this flower is called but I love the vivid red colour it has.
Perhaps can someone enlighten me on the name?
