It’s Mother’s Day in the UK today and my mum got really spoiled with lots of flowers, presents and cards from her children and her grandchildren; a way to show her we all love and appreciate her. I hope all mum’s out there were treated like royalty today too.
We’re currently having some work done to the house, extending the kitchen space to make it bigger and fitting in a new bathroom. I can’t wait for the results but it’ll be a couple of months yet before its all complete. Until then there’ll be lots of noise and dirt to contend with.
We’ve had deliveries of lots of raw materials and as I keep an an eye on how things develop over summer I aim to capture lots of details and memories.
We’ve come to the last day of 2015 but it will always be frozen in time, captured in our photographs and memories. Here are my favourite photos of the year which I enjoyed taking and sharing with you all.
I hope 2016 is everything you want it to be and more. Happy New Year and enjoy the fireworks.
This tropical flower is called Pink Ice Protea and is very unusual. The petals really stand out; the furry spiky small petals within and the larger, smoother ones outside. The range of colours also make for a nice contrast with bright pink with green beneath and the rich purple tip. This would be a nice addition to any vase.
