I love the textured petals of this beautiful pink flower which adds depth and shape. It almost seems that the petals have paint brush strokes from top to bottom.
These swirly treats are popular in South Asian countries and are called ‘Jalebi‘, They’re made of corn flour and are deep fried and then soaked in sugary syrup, which means that although they are delicious it’s probably not a good idea to eat too many. I think I want some now, looking at this photo…
This is my attempt at this week’s photo challenge, light. I love this image, with the glow of light emanating within the red Chinese lantern, which hangs beneath the bright blue, sun lit sky.
