I really like how this building on London’s Regent Street curves with the road, I especially like the illuminated stone of the building contrasting against the evening grey, cloudy sky.

Fiery leaves
Image

My favourite time of the year is Autumn because the weather in London is often sunny and bright but feels cooler, and nature all around begins to change like the leaves on the trees from various greens to brilliant shades of reds, oranges and yellows. I also love Autumn because there’s less bugs around!
Sky high London eye
Image

I was in London recently trying to take a photos of landmarks in a different way. I particularly liked this photo as it shows the London eye and a decorative lamp post almost in silhouette against the cloudy sky
Dramatic skies

I really like how dramatic the sky looks in this photo, with dark clouds and the bright orange setting sun creating silhouttes and shadows

Weekly Photo Challenge: Saturated
Image

I thought I’d have another go at the Weekly Photo Challenge with this week’s theme being ‘saturated’. I thought this photo was fitting, what do you think?
Reading room
Image

This is at The British Museum which happens to be one of my favourite rooms in London beacuse it’s so big and airy and I have to go in there if I ever visit. This picture was taken on a grey day but I like how the lighting and mood can change in the room according to the weather
Gem collection
Image

This precious gem collection isn’t mine (unfortunatley) but is housed at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. I love the way the stones have been arranged in colour order and seem to be located in a dark secret place, which they kind of are as you’re not allowed to take pictures but I was being a bit sneaky (and before you ask, yes I got told off and had to put my camera away afterwards)
Golden Hour
Image

I love taking photos at this time of day as the effects achieved always look so magical. In this photo I really like how the water seems to glimmer and draws you eye across to the cliffs. What do others think of taking photos at this time of day and are there any tips that you’d like to share?
