I find the tracks left behind on the sand in this photo by the tide sweeping in and out really interesting; it reminds me of sand in a desert that’s been blown around by the wind

Water drops
Image

I really like how the drops of water are clinging to the leaf, tempting you to give it a shake!
Rose red
Image

I took this photo a couple of years ago, when I was trying to get back into photography after a long break. I’d previously always used and loved cameras that took film and was apprehensive about switching to digital, but once I did I loved that not only could you see your images instantly but you could create different effects according to the light and composition due to the new technology.
This photo is one of my favourites and was one that was taken with a bit of experimenting. I love the bright red petals contrasting against the black shadows. And believe it or not this image has had no enhancement made to it at all.
Big wheel
Image

I really like this photo of the London eye as the tree branches and leaves seem to frame the wheel and although the photo is in colour it appears to be in black and white

Glass jar

I like how some of these sweets look like they’re locked in a glass box with some which have managed to escape!
Magic walkway
This is the pathway that leads to St Michael’s Mount in Cornwall.

Those who know about it, know that when the tide goes out the walkway becomes clear for you to walk on and leads you to the small island that has a castle or ‘mount’. The Island has many stories about it’s history, some factual, some in folklore, the most famous being it was once home to King Arthur.
Once the tide begins to come in the pathway begins to disappear beneath the waves (which I found out half way down on my way back to the mainland with my shoes getting soaked)
Once the tide is completely in from afar it seems like the pathway never existed and was perhaps even magic!
I’d love to hear your experiences of St Michael’s Mount and if you saw the tides coming in or out
Curley wurly
Image

I’m not sure what this plant is called but it has a really interesting curley bit shooting out the top. It woud be great if someone could tell me

Hearts on the line

I really like these flowers and they are interestingly called Bleeding Hearts
