These pretty African daisies are growing in our garden at the moment and I love the ombre effect of the petals from a lovely purple to white; they certainly bring an array of colour to the flower beds

Pretty peacock

I love the dazzling colours of a male peacock. I’ve posted photos of peacocks before but this one was so tame I was able to get right up close and take a photo of it’s amazing plummage and crest.
Pretty Fuchsia

These pretty pendant flowers are called Fushia but have also been known to be called Ladies eardrops. They remind me of my childhood, of when I would squeeze the pod open between my fingers before nature could, and loving the little ‘pop’ sound they made (I don’t do it anymore though!). We still have some in our garden today and I love the bright colour and memories they bring throughout the year.
I’d love to hear what flowers make you smile or have a special place in your memory
Scattered pollen

The detailed centre of this flower in contrast to the simplistic shape of the it’s petals makes for an interesting image. I also like the colour contrast of the vivid pink with bright yellow pollen that is scattered all over which also draws your eye
White stone bangles

I think these bangles would be ideal to complete an outfit for a party or wedding. I love how two colours and simple tear drop and circle shapes are used to create something very pretty and intricate looking.

Burnt orange
Image

This is a photo I took of fir needles that had turned a lovely burnt orange colour last Autumn. I think the vibrancy of colour and the small details of these pine trees really make for an interesting image

I thought I’d try and take some more macro shots as it’s been a while. I quite like this one but it’s not quite as sharp as I would like. I’ll keep trying though and hopefully post some more macros images soon
