I thought this was a nice photo opportunity; to capture a lone floating leaf in clear blue water which fills the fountains in Trafalger Square, London. I really like how the light dances on the surface of the water, creating a sense of movement with the worn tiles on the bottom adding texture and detail.
I’m not sure what these pretty flowers are called but they make me think they could be a type of thistle. I love the unusual shaped petals and the varying colours of the flowers and how they shoots out outwards and upwards. Do you have any idea what these are called?
I love this collection of beads; the various shapes, colours, sizes and textures. Some are prayer beads (tasbeeh) and others make up jewellery but together the colours really work well
I came across this cannon when I went to visit a friend on the coast recently, I thought it made an unusual addition to the landscape. I wonder if it still works…
I was out and about in London, Knightsbridge recently and came across this interesting art installation.
I have no idea who created it or what for but I really like the layers of glass that have been used to build up the drop in a vivid red colour

I love the colours of these pretty glass mirrors, and how they sparkle in the sun. Makes me want to buy one in every colour

This lake is in a local park that I visited recently, and with the weather so sunny and bright it made the lake look really pretty. I was tempted to take a boat out but thought better of it, as knowing me I’d probably fall in!
I recently went to a fair where many of the stalls were selling lovely things. Among them I found these slim glass bottles with a blue-green hue. They contain perfume oils, also known as attar, which is a traditional Arabic scent that is concentrated so you only need to apply small amounts. I didn’t buy any but I thought they would make for an interesting photo
