Race of Champions 2015
I recently went to a racing event at the Olympic Stadium in London called Race of Champions which brings together some of the best drivers in the world and pits them against each other to see who is the fastest. I’d never heard of this event before but it seemed to be well known among sports fans and as I managed to get my hands on some free tickets I thought it seemed like an interesting evening.
There were top F1 drivers present as well as Olympians and celebrities and it was fun to see them compete against each other as well as stunts being performed in super fast cars and motorcycles. In the stadium it was really cold but I managed to stay to the end and take a few snaps. I was hoping to take better pictures but I was a bit too far away, so just focused on enjoying the evening.

Orbit and moon
The ArcelorMittal Orbit at Stratford, London is the UK’s largest sculpture and observation tower. On a cold winter’s night the warm red glow under the bright moon makes it look like a welcoming fairground ride.

Superhero styled fun
My youngest nephew recently finished reading the Quran and to celebrate his mum threw him a superhero themed party. There were some really fun decorations and foods, both a delight to the eyes and tastebuds. I really liked the comic skyline selfie wall and the comic masks and captions. I also thought the party boxes were a really nice touch.
There was good food to enjoy and the cake went down well too, but the kids had a field day with all the sweets they managed to get their hands on and the prizes they won.
My nephew really enjoyed the party and all the gifts he received and we all had a fun time too.
Remembrance Day
It’s Remembrance Day today, a day to remember those that died in the line of duty since World War I. A poppy is worn on the days leading up to November 11th and at 11am today a minute’s silence will be held across the UK to think of those that fell.
WPC: Ornate piano
This grand piano really lives up to it’s name. The beautiful, ornate embellishments are by William Morris and Co. and are typical of the designs that were created by him. I personally love the style and detail of Morris’ work and have been a fan since I first discovered it.
