I recently went to Woburn Safari park and one of the animals I saw was the squirrel monkey, which are really small and pretty cute. These ones were really timid and open for people to pet and get quite close to. They did seem to have quite sad faces though, which started making me think twice about having animimals in zoos, but at least Woburn is a safari park and does allow animals more space and freedom than city zoos, and it does genuinley seems to care for them.

I’m facinated by how soft and fluffy the petals of this flower look. I’m not sure what flower they are from but i love the texture

Flower of the tropics
This flower is called Heliconia and has a very vivid orange colour. It certainly stands out as an unusual yet beautiful flower to me
Durdle Door, Bournemouth
I recently went on a day trip to Bournemouth and in particular to visit Durdle Door. Now, I’d seen a couple of photos on the internet and I had an idea of what to expect, sort of…what I actually found was a breathtaking view of the coast which was amazing. I’ll stop trying to explain and show you my photos instead which I took on my DSLR camera.
This is the view you see from a steep walk down towards the coast; it appears all of a sudden like a well kept secret

I love how the movement of the water can be seen in the second picture
Then walking further down you see the famous Durdle Door which is also a World Heritage Site
What I loved the most about this place was that it looked as beautiful in real life as it did in photos I’d seen, in full, vivid colour. I would definitely recommend it as place to visit and to get some amazing shots.
Here a few other photo’s I took

Lifeguard’s view point

I really like how the sky and clouds are lightly reflected onto the wet sand. And it’s cool to think of lifeguard surfing to the rescue
