Yes, this is my 100th post so I thought I’d share some sweets with you (or a picture anyway) to celebrate. Thank you to everyone who has visited my blog and left comments and tips along the way. I hope you will continue to visit and enjoy my photos.
This pretty flower belongs to the aubergine plant, also known as eggplant, once the petals fall off the vegetable grows in its place. We have had several from my mum’s garden this summer
This is the hem from my outfit I wore on Eid. I love the colour combination and detail of the embroidery. Eid al Fitr is the celebration that comes after a month of fasting and I enjoyed the day with my family eating lots of great food and sharing lovely gifts. I love these colours of different blues and greens, I think they work really well together. They can be found strung together here
I think thses are such pretty flowers, I like how the subtle touch of purple gives the petals an outline and definition
There’s a lot of spiders in our garden at the moment and although they make me itch at the thought of them I thought I’d have a go at trying to capture a web. I thought this one came out ok, but maybe I’ll try to be braver next time and zoom in closer
