I love the poem, who’s it from?
I’ve seen daffodils in bloom in January, these now and there were also others that still hadn’t opened up. Seems like daffodils have their own timings.
When they bloom: I think it depends on the temperature in the soil around the bulb. We usually see the around here in about three weeks from now, but I know they are visible sooner further south.
That famous poem 🙂 who knows why they bloom early, could be the temperature of the soil
She wore her yellow sun-bonnet,
She wore her greenest gown;
She turned to the south wind
And curtsied up and down.
She turned to the sunlight
And shook her yellow head,
And whispered to her neighbour:
“Winter is dead.”
” Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.”
Still too cold here.

Wordsworth, “I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud.” One of my faves!

So uplifting
I agree 🙂
Inspiring… I love it, how nature hints through flowers 💐 of the season change. A beautiful phenomenon
Agree, always a joy to see what flowers will emerge as we go through Spring.
Here’s another one for you:
Daffodowndilly by A.A. Milne
