WPC: Circle

I really like this photo of a sawn branch on a felled tree and thought it was an interesting one to use for this week’s photo challenge ‘circle‘. The texture of the wood and the ring of bark gives the branch and tree a really solid feel.

A very nice close-up shot. Whoever sawed the tree must have been quite skilled – that really is a smooth bark, and solid as you said. I bet it was a strong tree 😀
